The TV Program

Our program has been in existence for over fiftenn years. We have won many awards and several of our students are already in the industry in LA and NY!

Our students use Imovie HD and Final Cut Pro for editing. The advanced students learn Motion and After Effects. They compose all their music on Garage Band and SoundTrack Pro.

I started teaching TV productions in Japan when I was doing the gifted and talented program. My students won first prize for their music video. Then I set up the first TV program at Karlsruhe American High School in Germany. We took many awards at the DoDDs Media Fest. I coined the first prize for the fest--the Doddscar!

Presently, I have set up the first TV productions program at Patch American High School in Stuttgart, Germany. We broadcast live every morning at 9:32 am with clips from our video productions class or the weather using chromakey at the end of each show.

This is where we do the PTV AM show with the school announcements. We chromakey the green screen with the weather and Powerpoint slides.

We also broadcast our slide show 24/7--

In the near future, we hope to show our videos before the main movies and the post theater.
